Protection and Expansion of labor jobs

For the last 17 Years the A. Philip Randolph Institute Seattle and WCLC have joined in alliance to lobby under common issues within our communities, educate participating community leaders, organizations and labor representatives on the work being accomplished locally to address the needs of the community.  Most importantly we are united under common issues to develop a statewide Legislative Agenda.

Charles Rolland African American Legislative Day

Bring It to the capital

Join us during the Annual Charles Rolland African American Legislative Day as we take on the capital. There will be open discussions, panels with our state officials and opportunities to get key issues heard. We encourage youth to make their voices’ heard in our youth programs and workshops. It’s not a moment; It’s a movement. Will you be there?

Meals are provided.

At the banquet table of nature, there are no reserved seats. You get what you can take, and you keep what you can hold. If you can’t take anything, you won’t get anything, and if you can’t hold anything, you won’t keep anything. And you can’t take anything without organization.
