Legislative Day

Each year, we travel down to the state capital and discuss with policy makers the major issues of our community.

Charles Rolland African American Legislative Day

Bring It to the capital

Join us during the Annual Charles Rolland African American Legislative Day as we take on the capital. There will be open discussions, panels with our state officials and opportunities to get key issues heard. We encourage youth to make their voices’ heard in our youth programs and workshops.

Meals are provided.

It’s not a moment; It’s a movement. Will you be there?

At the banquet table of nature, there are no reserved seats. You get what you can take, and you keep what you can hold. If you can’t take anything, you won’t get anything, and if you can’t hold anything, you won’t keep anything. And you can’t take anything without organization.
